Privacy Policy
Last reviewed: August 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to maternaldevelopment.org, the public field platform for Maternal Development, published by Jamilia Shani. It does not apply to Forpartum or Propartum Institute, which are separate applications that may have their own privacy policies.
What information this site collects
The only personal information this site asks for is submitted voluntarily through the Join form: your email address, which audience group you identify with, and which updates you want to receive. This site does not use cookies, analytics, or any third-party tracking script.
Fonts and all other assets are self-hosted, so viewing this site sends no requests to third-party services. Like virtually all websites, the hosting server keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and operations purposes.
What happens to Join form submissions
At present, the Join form is not yet connected to a mailing provider. No email address submitted through it is transmitted, stored, or processed anywhere. Once a mailing provider is connected, this section will be updated before that change goes live, with the name of the provider and what they do with data clearly stated.
No selling or sharing of data
This site does not sell, trade, or rent any personal information. Information submitted through the Join form will only ever be used to send the updates you opted into, and will not be shared with any third party without your explicit consent.
Your rights
If you have submitted information through the Join form and wish to have it removed, contact hello@maternaldevelopment.org and it will be deleted promptly. Once a mailing provider is connected, an unsubscribe link will appear in every email.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the “last reviewed” date will be updated. For significant changes affecting your data, notice will be given before the change takes effect.
